Objectives

The Individual Assessment serves the purpose of evaluating your management and leadership potential. Various diagnostic components complementing each other will be used which capture particular personality traits and enable an integrated consideration. An md consultant will accompany you throughout the entire day. To increase the level of objectivity, a second md consultant will join later. The Individual Assessment normally takes place at the md offices in Hamburg. Occasionally, a manager of the contracting company will be present as an observer.

Course of action and methods

Please allot approx. one and a half hours prior to the Individual Assessment to work on the personality inventory as well as the two cognitive performance tests.

  • Personality inventory (beforehand online)
    We use a personality inventory that measures leadership-relevant personality traits.
  • Cognitive performance tests (beforehand online)
    These performance tests capture the ability to draw logical conclusions from numerical and verbal-logical information when under time pressure. You will receive your online access together with your invitation for the Individual Assessment.
  • Welcoming and instructions
    You will be introduced to the objectives and the course of action of the Individual Assessment. It is important to us to find out which expectations, hopes or fears you associate with the Individual Assessment. We see you as a partner who actively contributes towards obtaining a picture of your personality that is as multifaceted as possible at the end of the day.
  • Two self-rating questionnaires
    Your self-perception is an important diagnostic source of information to us. The answers will be scrutinized and concretized in the interview.
  • Business case, presentation and interaction exercise
    In various requirement situations you will receive the opportunity to prove your management skills beyond your own field.
  • Interview
    The interview serves the purpose of us getting to know you better as a person. We are interested in how you became the personality you are today.
  • Evaluation and feedback
    After the interview, the md consultants will conduct a differentiated assessment of your personality by means of the requirement criteria and will give advice on individual development recommendations. You will receive differentiated feedback on all exercises as well as the test results. Moreover, concrete suggestions will be established on how you can further develop particular abilities.
